HPE StoreEasy 1860 Storage
Introduction
HPE StoreEasy 1860 Storage products deliver high performance in a 2U rack mount form factor. HPE StoreEasy 1860 models have two factory installed M.2 Solid-State Disks in a RAID 1 Smart Array configuration that contains the system operating system. The HPE StoreEasy 1860 Storage is built on HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10 server and includes a rail kit. For more information about the rail kit, see the HPE StoreEasy 1000 Storage Getting Started Guide.
Key Features
The operating system comes pre-installed and activated for each HPE StoreEasy 1860 system. The operating system is installed on 2 x SFF SSDs configured in RAID 1 which are installed in the SFF rear cage. Initial configuration tasks are presented to the user for the purpose of simplifying the initial systems settings, network configuration, and storage configuration.
HPE StoreEasy 1860 Storage models that come preconfigured with hard drives have a quantity of eight drives and the size in the model name indicates the RAW storage capacity. This storage does not come preconfigured with a specific RAID configuration.

A standard StoreEasy 1860 configuration includes 24 SFF drive bays in the front drive cage. SKUs that include hard drives will have 16 open drives bays. If the SKU is configured with the optional rear cage which adds 2 additional SFF drive bays, then the number of available drive bays available increase from 16 to 18 drive bays.
