HPE StoreEasy 1660 Storage
Introduction
HPE StoreEasy 1660 Storage products deliver high capacity in a 2U rack mount form factor. HPE StoreEasy 1660 models have two factory installed M.2 Solid-State Disks (SSDs) in a RAID 1 Smart Array configuration that contains the system operating system. The HPE StoreEasy 1660 is built on HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen 10 Server and includes a rail kit. For more information about the rail kit, see the HPE StoreEasy 1000 Storage Getting Started Guide.
Key Features
The operating system comes pre-installed and activated for each HPE StoreEasy 1660 system. The operating system is installed on 2 x SFF SSDs configured in RAID 1 which are installed in the SFF rear cage. Initial configuration tasks are presented to the user for the purpose of simplifying the initial systems settings, network configuration, and storage configuration.
HPE StoreEasy 1660 Storage models that come pre-configured with hard drives have a quantity of eight drives and the size in the model name indicates the RAW storage capacity. This storage does not come pre-configured with a specific RAID configuration.

*A standard StoreEasy 1660 configuration includes 12 LFF drive bays. SKUs that include hard drives will have 4 open drives bays. If the SKU is ordered with the optional 4LFF Mid-plane expansion cage, the number of open drives bays will increase from 4-8 open drive bays.
