Downgrade the management console using the installer file

Using the installer file that you downloaded from the HPE Support Center, you can manually downgrade the installed management console.
NOTE:

Hewlett Packard Enterprise only maintains supported software versions on the HPE Support Center.

Procedure
  1. Uninstall the installed management console:
    1. Select Control Panel > Programs and Features.
    2. Select HPE StoreEasy management console present in the list, right-click, and select Uninstall.

      For versions earlier than 1.1.0, the file name is displayed as HPE StoreEasy management bundle.

    3. Uninstall Storage Management Provider (SMP) service.
  2. Follow the uninstallation instructions.
  3. Download the compressed zip file for the required software version from the HPE Support Center.
  4. Copy the downloaded file to the HPE StoreEasy Storage system where you want to install the management console manually.
  5. Extract the files from the downloaded zip file.
  6. Read the installation instructions and release notes of the version you want to install.
  7. Double-click the installer file from the extracted files and follow the installation instructions.
