Cleaning the security and encryption configurations

Prerequisites

  • You have enabled Intel VMD and VROC on RBSU.

  • You have at least one NVMe drive with OPAL plugged into the enabled Intel VMD controller. 

  • You have configured remote key management on the iLO Key Manager page. For more information, see the HPE iLO User Guide at the following website https://support.hpe.com/hpesc.

Procedure
  1. Immediately following the POST, select the option that allows to access the BIOS setup menu. This example uses F9 key.
  2. Using the arrow key move the cursor to highlight the menu option System Configuration, and press Enter.
  3. In the System Configuration menu, using the arrow key move the cursor to highlight the menu option Intel(R) VROC SED Manager and press Enter. 
  4. In the Intel(R) VROC SED – Dashboard View menu, using the arrow key move the cursor to highlight the menu option Drive Management and press Enter.
  5. Click Confirm, navigate to the Execute System Revert option and press Enter.
