mutually exclusive choices.
* Arguments listed in square brackets [] are optional arguments and can be
omitted.
* Fields listed in angle brackets <> should be replaced with the value
indicated.
To specify which session to terminate, provide a console identifier similar to that described in the
connect command. You are able to find the listing of open connections, as well as the necessary information to specify the console identifier, by using the
show command with the
sessions keyword.
This ability is intended for cases where you have lost the ability to communicate with the serial console even though the connection still exists, or if a higher priority connection cannot be made due to an existing connection created by another user.
Example output
This example output illustrates how to find a list of open connection for an interconnect by using the
show command with the
sessions keyword and how to terminate a console session for an interconnect of your choice:
console-view> show interconnect sessions
Enclosure Bay Console Index Login Time
---------- --- ------------- ------------------------
MXQ73406DF 1 1 2017-11-08T23:52:16+0000
console-view> kill interconnect MXQ73406DF 1
Terminated console session for interconnect, bay 1
