CLI for serial console access
The Command Line Interface (CLI) enables you to access the serial console of HPE Synergy interconnects and servers. Accessing the serial console helps you to collect an advanced diagnostic information when other forms of connecting to the devices are not available.
Choice of desktop tools to connect to the serial console, such as SSH or PuTTY.

Commands are case-sensitive.

Command history and tab completion
The CLI maintains a history of command lines entered during a session. You can either recall or edit the previous commands using the arrow keys in a most modern shell manner. On the CLI, the tab key helps you to complete your text entry for commands and argument keywords. Field names and attribute values cannot be tab-completed.
