NTP server configurations for server hardware and interconnects

You can synchronize the managed and monitored interconnects and server hardware with an appliance clock or with the NTP servers.

You can use the following global settings to control server hardware and interconnect NTP configurations:

NTP time server settings for interconnects are configured using various sources depending on their IP address configuration. The following table lists the interconnects that support the NTP time server settings, configured by HPE OneView, and their configuration for each IP address configuration case:

When an interconnect's NTP time server settings is configured by HPE OneView, the NTP server configuration option configures the interconnect NTP server settings as follows:

Interconnect synchronizes time with HPE OneView as its NTP server

Interconnect synchronizes time with the time server(s), when the interconnect NTP client configuration matches the time server(s) configuration.
