Connect to the HPE Synergy console with a keyboard, video monitor, and mouse

Prerequisites

  • You have physical access to the frame

  • A video monitor with a monitor port cable or appropriate monitor port adapter

  • A USB keyboard and mouse

  • There is only a single USB port at each connection location. If your keyboard and mouse require more than one USB port, you must use a USB hub.

Procedure
Connect the video monitor cable and the combined USB keyboard/mouse cable to either of the following locations:

Front panel KVM connection

Rear panel KVM connection

Once connected, the HPE Synergy console displays and you can start the first-time setup process for HPE OneView.
