Cannot access the appliance remotely after a factory reset or restore

Symptom

Cannot access the appliance remotely (either the HPE OneView GUI or the appliance maintenance console through an SSH connection) after a factory reset or restore

Cause

The appliance networking was not configured or was configured incorrectly. The Preserve appliance network settings option might not have been selected during a factory reset.

Action
  1. Access the HPE Synergy console.
  2. Change the HPE Synergy Composer network settings.
