Unsuccessful migration of vSwitch type from Standard to Distributed

Symptom

Migration of vSwitch type from Standard to Distributed may fail for one or more hosts while the virtual machines are running on the cluster.

Action
  1. Manually migrate the virtual machines from the remaining hosts to consume the new Dvportgroup and any of the already updated hosts.
  2. Re-run the Make Hypervisor Profile Consistent option to update the remaining hosts of the cluster.
