Network connectivity issues with frame link module on the appliance ports

Symptom

Lack of network connectivity to the appliance ports on the frame link module.

Cause

A cable or transceiver is attached to an appliance port of the frame link module in bay 1. The frame midplane does not support network connectivity to the appliance ports on the frame link module in that bay.

Action
  1. Contact your support specialist to upgrade the frame midplane.
  2. Alternatively, remove any connected cables or transceivers from the appliance ports on the frame link module in bay 1.
