Assumptions and Prerequisites

Ensure that two network interfaces are configured for SSMC appliance.

Ensure that the ssmcaudit user is disabled.

Ensure that DoD PKI approved CA-signed server certificate is ready and available for imports.

Ensure the list of all hosts that SSMC connects to is collated and ready.

Ensure the NTP host details are kept ready.

Ensure to have the trust certificates for all outbound connections that SSMC makes to external hosts (HPE RMC, HPE InfoSight, HPE Service Processor, and so on) other than arrays.

Ensure to have the Remote Logging Server setup details (server, protocol, port, and machine certificates).
