Overview

SSMC is secure. Many of the standard security configuration are enabled out-of-the-box. However, there are a few standards driven security requirements, predominantly based on the NIST SP 800-53 guidelines, that are stringent, which sacrifices ease-of-use, performance or functionality over security. These settings are made configurable in SSMC so that only those security conscious enterprises requiring full standards compliance can opt in and enable these security settings.
