Collect Support Logs
Procedure
- From the TUI main menu, select Collect Support Logs (menu option 8).

Enter Y to initiate the log collection process.
Once completed, the exact location of the support bundle file on the file system is displayed on the screen.
This is a compressed archive file with a time stamp suffix of the format
/var/opt/hpe/support-bundle/support-ssmc.<yyyy-MM-dd.hh-mm-ss>.tgz
. - Press X to return to main menu and escape to bash shell.

Use any SFTP client (authenticate as
ssmcadmin
) from a remote terminal on the network to download the support bundle file to your preferred network location.NOTE: If the host access feature is enabled, ensure that the specific host from where you are accessing the SSMC appliance is whitelisted. For more information on the host access feature, see the section Networked Host Access Control through Whitelists.
