Powering up the server blade

Server blades can be powered up individually in the chassis. Choose the procedure that fits your need.

When each server blade is installed into a powered chassis, auxiliary power is automatically provided to the blade, which powers the blade iLO module.

Use one of the following methods to power on server blades:

Press and release the power button on the server blade.
Use the virtual power button in the iLO web interface hosted on the blade.
Enter Power at the iLO CLI.

Verify that the server blade is powered on by observing that the system power LED is green. See Server blade LEDs.
