Adding a custom dashboard panel

Procedure
  1. Click the icon in the upper right corner of the dashboard as shown in icon in the upper right corner of the dashboard and click Add to open the add dialog box.
  2. For Panel, select Custom.
  3. Choose a resource type, a title, and an optional dashboard query.
  4. Under Data sets, select Type.

    • If you select, Status, skip to step 7.

    • If you select, Custom, go to step 5.

  5. Type a caption for your chart.
  6. Click Add slice to open the Add Slice dialog box and add slices to the custom chart.
  7. Click Add to complete the action or click Add + to add another dashboard panel.
  8. Verify the panel is now displayed on the Dashboard screen.
