Edit hypervisor cluster profile

NOTE:

The changes made to the hypervisor cluster profile does not automatically change the settings of the hypervisors. The mismatch in configuration results in inconsistencies in the hypervisor profile. The inconsistencies can be resolved for each hypervisor from the hypervisor profile screen, or all hypervisors can be made consistent from the hypervisor cluster profiles screen. Before renaming any port group in the hypervisor cluster profile, ensure that the port group is not used in the vcenter cluster. If any virtual machines are running, migrate them to other port groups.

Prerequisites

Privileges: Infrastructure administrator, Server administrator, Server profile architect or Server profile administrator.

Procedure
  1. From the main menu, select HYPERVISORS > Hypervisor Cluster Profiles.
  2. In the master pane, select the hypervisor cluster profile you want to edit, and select Actions > Edit.
  3. Edit the values shown on the screen.
  4. Confirm your changes, and click OK to apply them.
  5. Verify that the changes have been made in the details pane.
