Update firmware from a logical enclosure
You can update logical interconnects, unmanaged interconnects (if any), and the servers with server profiles to set the firmware to a specified baseline.
You can update firmware from a logical enclosure for shared infrastructure, shared infrastructure and profiles, and HPE BladeSystem Onboard Administrator only, if any.
When a logical enclosure firmware update is in progress, do not initiate a firmware update from a logical interconnect that is part of that logical enclosure.
When you apply a firmware bundle to a logical enclosure, the validation checks ensures that the selected baseline contains the firmware applicable to the server generation and model. If the validation check fails, then the server profile will not apply, and display a warning message.
If the selected firmware bundle is in warning state, you cannot update firmware from a logical enclosure. The warning state is due to the missing components that are required to complete the logical enclosure firmware update.
