Enabling or disabling uplink or downlink ports on an interconnect

Use the Interconnects screen to enable and disable ports on an interconnect.

You may want to disable a port for the following reasons:

Testing or troubleshooting
To block connectivity on selected ports
To isolate selected ports from network access

NOTE:

Ports for an HPE Virtual Connect SE 16Gb FC Module for HPE Synergy 24-port Fibre Channel Modules are automatically enabled when they are assigned to an uplink set. Uplink ports not being used by an uplink set cannot be enabled or disabled.
