DCBX Information | The Data Center Bridging Exchange (DCBX) protocol information is displayed
only for FCoE and RoCE capable ports when assigned to either an
FCoE or RoCE network.
Overall status | Status of the DCBX protocol exchange with peer entity. It is the combination of AP and PFC state. PG is not included in the overall status.
OK No error is detected in the DCBX operation.
Failed An error occurred in one of the DCBX information exchanges. Check the AP, PFC, or PG state for the reason for the error. For more information and troubleshooting, refer to the hardware documentation for the switch.
| AP state | Application protocol status.
| PFC state | Priority-based flow control status.
| PG state | Priority group status.
|
The following values apply to all three DCBX states:
AP, PFC, or PG state value
| Description
|
---|
The feature is operationally disabled.
| | Peer reports that the feature is not enabled.
| | Peer has reported an error configuring the feature.
| | Peer is not running DCBX.
| | Peer does not indicate that it supports the feature.
| | Peer has an incompatible configuration and is unwilling to accept changes.
| | Peer has a compatible configuration, but is unwilling to accept changes. System will operate normally, but future configuration changes may require a server power cycle.
| | The state is unpopulated.

|
Direct attach | These fields display when an uplink port is connected to a Fibre Channel direct attach network.
FC domain ID | Unique Fibre Channel ID generated by the appliance for each interconnect.
| FC port ID | Hexadecimal ID assigned to the port by the FC SAN.
| Storage port WWN | World Wide Port Name of the storage port.
| Storage node WWN | World Wide Node Name of the storage node.
| Storage port name | Symbolic port name of the storage port to which the uplink port is connected.
| Storage node name | Symbolic node name of the storage port to which the uplink port is connected.
|
|
FIP Snooping (Active FCoE only)
| These fields display when an uplink port is connected to an active FCoE module.
LAG | Link Aggregation Group ID for the ports within the LAG.
| VLAN | VLAN ID associated with the FCoE network configured on the uplink set.
| Downlink count | Number of server ports that are active or logged into an associated FCoE VLAN network.
| FC Map | FCoE MAC address prefix provided by the Fibre Channel Forwarder (FCF) which is used to construct the FCoE MAC address on the server: FC MAP and FC ID.
| FCF Name | FCF switch node WWN name associated with the FCoE VLAN. The name is provided by the FCF in snooped FIP messages.
| Fabric Name | The fabric name associated with the FCoE VLAN. It is provided by the FCF in snooped FIP messages.
| FCF MAC Address | In FCF mode, a single FCF MAC address per switch.
In NPV mode, the FCF MAC address for each port on the FCF switch that is part of the LAG.

|
Statistics | These fields display when an uplink port is on an interconnect that supports statistics.
For example, Virtual Connect Fibre Channel interconnects do not support statistical data collection.
Port statistics data is refreshed at the same frequency as the interval between samples, which you can set using the
Utilization sampling settings on the
Logical Interconnects screen, or the
Logical Interconnect Groups screen.
Transmitted errors | Number of errors that the port has transmitted since the connection was established or the last time the port counters were cleared.
| Received errors | Number of errors that the port has received since the connection was established or the last time the port counters were cleared.
| Bit Transfer Rate graph | Displays the bit transfer rate (transmitted and received) of the uplink port over time, and the average bit transfer rate.
You can change the sample collection rate using the
Utilization Sampling settings on the
Logical Interconnects screen, or the
Logical Interconnect Groups screen.
| Packet Transfer Rate graph | Displays the packet transfer rate (transmitted and received) of the uplink port over time, and the average packet transfer rate.
You can change the sample collection rate using the
Utilization Sampling settings on the
Logical Interconnects screen, or the
Logical Interconnect Groups screen.

Advanced Statistics
| These fields display port statistics like frame details, CRC errors, and dropped frames. In addition to these counters,
pfcRxPauseFrameCounter and
pfcTxPauseFrameCounter are being added. These features are available on the
HPE Virtual Connect SE 40Gb F8 Module for HPE Synergy and
HPE Virtual Connect SE 100Gb F32 Module for HPE Synergy interconnects.
pfcRxPauseFrameCounter
| Rx PFC count: The total received Priority Pause frame count.
| pfcTxPauseFrameCounter
| Tx PFC count: The total transmitted Priority Pause frame count
