HPE OneView ignores the Boot Settings option if you have not manually configured the PXE boot policy settings for HPE Superdome Flex Server

Symptom
For the HPE Superdome Flex Server with firmware version 3.0.512 or 3.0.542, HPE OneView ignores the Boot Settings option while configuring the BIOS settings on the Server Profile page, under the following conditions:

  • If you have enabled the DHCPv4 settings to obtain the preboot-IPv4 network configuration.

  • If you have either not manually configured the PXE boot policy option or configured it to the Auto option.

Action
If you have enabled the DHCPv4 option to obtain the preboot-IPv4 network configuration, configure the PXE boot policy with the IPv4 option.
