Resolve connectivity issues between an iPDU and the appliance

You can manually refresh the connection between the appliance and an iPDU using the Refresh option from the Actions menu. The appliance automatically synchronizes with iPDUs when they are added, on startup of the appliance, and when it detects changes to the power connections to the iPDU. However, if an iPDU becomes out of synchronization with the appliance, you must refresh the connection manually.

NOTE:

Hewlett Packard Enterprise recommends that you do not use the iLO or HPE BladeSystem Onboard Administrator to make changes to a device. Making changes to a device from its iLO or Onboard Administrator could cause it to become unsynchronized with the appliance.

Prerequisites

Privileges: Infrastructure administrator or Server administrator

Procedure
  1. From the main menu, select FACILITIES > Power Delivery Devices.
  2. In the master pane, select the iPDU device you want to refresh.
  3. Select Actions > Refresh.
NOTE:

The Refresh action starts immediately, confirmation is not required.
