Import a self-signed certificate to the browser

After downloading a self-signed certificate, import it into your environment. The following steps use Internet Explorer.

Procedure
  1. From the browser menu, select Tools > Internet Options.
  2. Click the Content tab.
  3. Click Certificates.
  4. Click Import.
  5. Use the Certificate Import Wizard.
    1. Select the file you downloaded.
    2. When it prompts you for the certificate store, select Place all certificates in the following store and select the Trusted Root Certification Authorities store.
    3. Click OK at the security warning.

    The next time you log into the appliance, you will not receive the certificate error.
