Set the appliance clock manually

If you do not synchronize the appliance clock with an NTP server, use the following procedure to set the clock manually.

IMPORTANT:

Hewlett Packard Enterprise recommends that you set the appliance clock when no other users are logged in and there are no running jobs.

Prerequisites

Privileges: Infrastructure administrator

Procedure
  1. From the main menu, select Settings and do one of the following:

    • Hover the mouse on the Time and Locale panel and click ..

    • Click Time and Locale and select Actions > Edit.

  2. Select Synchronize with VM host.
    NOTE:

    The browser displays the time according to the local time zone. The appliance console displays time according to UTC (Universal Time Coordinated).

  3. Optional. Set the Default language / locale.
    1. To delete the current setting field, click the ..
    2. Select a language from the drop-down list.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Verify the date and time in the Time and Locale panel.
