Trust a certificate
When adding a managed device, such as an iLO or a remote server, the SSL certificate, if associated with the managed device or remote server, is fetched and displayed in a dialog box.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise suggests replacing the self-signed certificate with a commercially signed CA certificate.
For trusting a CA root or intermediate certificate: Infrastructure administrator privileges.
Adding a managed device.
A self-signed certificate and has been earlier imported into the appliance.
A CA signed certificate and the CA that has signed the certificate has been imported into the appliance earlier.
The certificate is added to the appliance trust store. All communication from HPE OneView to the managed device/remote server hence forth will use the trusted certificate. The same capability is available through REST API for scripting users.
