Applying or Removing Power to a Breaker Panel Output
The slots on the breaker panel are numbered. To apply power to or remove power from a breaker panel terminal:
Procedure
- At the back of the breaker panel, check and record the number of the terminal to which you want to apply or remove power. For terminals 1, 2, and 3, the labels are above the terminal. For terminals 4, 5, 6, and 7, the labels are below the terminal. Both the battery and the return terminals are labeled (see Figure 5: Breaker Panel Terminals). You must use the same terminal number for both the side A and the side B power rails.
-
At the front of the breaker panel (see
Figure 6: Breaker Panel Front View):
- In the area marked SIDE A, locate the breaker number that corresponds to the terminal number and move the switch on the breaker to the OFF position to remove power or to the ON position to apply power.
- In the area marked SIDE B, locate the breaker number that corresponds to the terminal number and move the switch on the breaker to the OFF position to remove power or to the ON position to apply power.
