The following diagram shows the DIMM locations in the NonStop X NS3 X1, NS3 X2, NS7 X1, and NS7 X2 server blades:

The following table shows the DIMM load order for 32 GB and 64 GB memory configurations using 16 GB DIMMS in NonStop X NS3 server blades (L15.02 or later RVUs).

The following diagram shows the DIMM locations in the NonStop X NS3 X3 and NS7 X3 server blades:
DIMM load order
All DIMMs in NonStop X NS3 X3 and NS7 X3 server blades are installed in Processor 1 (P1-) DIMM slots. No DIMMs are installed in Processor 2 (P2-) DIMM slots. This unbalanced memory configuration is different from the configuration used in NonStop X NS3 X1, NS3 X2, NS7 X1, and NS7 X2 server blades, and is a performance optimization for the NonStop X use of the base BL460c Gen10 server blade.
The following table shows the DIMM load order for 32 GB and 64 GB memory configurations using 16 GB DIMMS in NonStop X NS3 X3 server blades:
The NS3 X3 server blade uses 16 GB DIMMs which is different from the 32 GB DIMMs used in NS7 X3 server blade. The NS3 X3 server blade DIMMs and the NS7 X3 server blade DIMMs are not interchangeable.
