Policy
Consistent with Hewlett Packard Enterprise´s Best Work Environment Policy, our policy and practice at Hewlett Packard Enterprise is to maintain a work environment free from discrimination, one where employees are treated with dignity and respect.

Principles
In accordance with the provisions of the Indian Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, Hewlett Packard Enterprise is committed to and will ensure that –
a. The work environment is free from any discrimination against persons with disabilities.
b. A conducive environment is provided to employees with disabilities to perform their roles and excel in the same.
c. Appropriate facilities and amenities are provided to employees with disabilities to enable them to effectively discharge their duties.
d. Provision is made for an accessible environment and availability of assistive devices as required.
e. A liaison officer, reporting to the Country VP – HR is designated to oversee the implementation and application of the policy
f. A grievance redressal mechanism is available for addressing matters related to the employment of persons with disabilities
g. The Company’s Ethics & Compliance Office (ECO) and/or Human Resources (HR) will deal with any grievance concerning selection of person(s) with disabilities for any position, training, promotion, transfer, leave, etc. in a fair and equitable manner, free from any discrimination.
h. No opportunity is denied to persons with disabilities, based on grounds of disability.
Personal Information
Individuals with disabilities who apply or employees who believe themselves to be covered by the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, are encouraged to contact the Human Resources Representative in any given location. Any information obtained with regard to the individual’s disability will be kept confidential, and will be used in accordance with applicable laws. Refusal to provide information will not subject an employee or applicant to any adverse treatment. Employees and applicants will be protected from coercion, intimidation, interference, discrimination or retaliation for filing a complaint or assisting in an investigation under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act.

- Maintain a work environment that promotes dignity, courtesy, and respect for the individual.
- Provide reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities.
Reporting grievances & concerns
Employees / individuals are expected to report suspected violations of Hewlett Packard Enterprise's Global Non-Discrimination Policy, Harassment-Free Work Environment Policy and its Equal Employment Opportunity Policy promptly to their people leader, the next level of management, Human Resources, Legal or the Ethics and Compliance Office.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise prohibits retaliation against any individual or employee who makes a good faith complaint regarding a violation or suspected violation of those policies, or who participates in an investigation of such a complaint.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise will conduct a prompt investigation into such complaints, and if discrimination, harassment, retaliation, or other inappropriate behaviour is substantiated, appropriate disciplinary action will be taken, up to and including termination of employment.
Because of the serious nature of these matters, any employee who deliberately makes false statements of fact during an investigation, or fails to fully cooperate with an investigation, is subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
