Zero trust security
By 2025, the cost of cyberattacks worldwide will reach $10 trillion. How can organizations operate at the speed of business while protecting their networks from attack? Increasingly the answer is found in the concept of zero trust, a cybersecurity approach whereby no one and nothing is trusted by default.
Automotive strength testing for safety and comfort
HPE’s Dr. Eng Lim Goh visits Munich, home to 1.5 million people and the heart of Germany’s auto industry. More than 50,000 residents work in auto engineering, and the city has allocated 30 million euros to boost electric vehicles and the infrastructure for them. One area in which HPE is working with the auto industry is strength simulation, ensuring minimum use of materials while adhering to strict safety and comfort standards. Dr. Goh uses the example of a car door to demonstrate how HPE tests for strength with elastic range, vibrational, and destruction loading.
