2020 Military Friendly Awards
For the 9th consecutive year, HPE was recognized as a Military Friendly Company. The Military Friendly standard measures an organization’s commitment and success in creating an inclusive environment for the military community. This year, HPE received the Bronze Designation, exceeding the Military Friendly Standard in all six categories measured. Military Friendly, a service-disabled, veteran-owned small business, collects public and proprietary information and ranks companies with guidance from its Advisory Council, all data is audited by EY.

2019 Diversity Best Practices Inclusion Index
HPE was recognized on this year’s Diversity Best Practices Inclusion Index, hosted by the Working Mother Research Institute (WRMI). Participants are scored on three areas: Best practices in recruitment from under-represented groups, creating an inclusive culture and transparency across the organization.
2019 Military Friendly Awards
For the 8th consecutive year, HPE was recognized as a Military Friendly Company. The Military Friendly standard measures an organization’s commitment and success in creating an inclusive environment for the military community. This year, HPE received the Bronze Designation, ranking us in the top 40% of employers for veterans. Military Friendly, a service-disabled, veteran-owned small business, collects public and proprietary information and ranks companies with guidance from its Advisory Council, all data is audited by EY.
Forbes inclusion and diversity (I&D) lists
Forbes partners with market research company Statista to publish I&D focused lists ranking American employers based on recommendations from diverse employees, board diversity, executive ranks, existing policies, and proactive initiatives around equality. HPE was listed on both America’s Best Employers for Women 2019 List and America’s Best Employers for Diversity 2019 List, demonstrating our commitment to a culture of inclusion.
Best in biz awards international 2019
This year, over 300 public and private companies from across sectors in 30 countries competed in the 2019 Best in Biz 7th Annual International Awards. HPE was recognized as a Silver Award Winner in the Environmental Program of the Year category for our circular economy program.

The 33nd annual Mercomm International Annual Report Competition (ARC) awarded HPE a Bronze Award in the category of overall Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Report for the 2018 Living Progress Report.
Dow Jones Sustainability Index
HPE was recognized as industry leader on the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI), earning the #1 position in the Computers & Peripherals and Office Electronics category, recognizing the company’s leadership in sustainable practices. Global Corporate Sustainability Awards
HPE took home two Global Corporate Sustainability Awards in Taipei for credible reporting and professional leadership in sustainability. Chief Sustainability Officer, Christopher Wellise, received the GCSA Professional Award for his outstanding contributions to advancing sustainable business and the SDGs. The Living Progress Report was also awarded or exemplary transparency and credibility in disclosure.
Dow Jones Sustainability Index
Hewlett Packard Enterprise was listed in the 2018 Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) World for the seventh consecutive year recognizing the company’s efforts to lead the industry in sustainable practices. HPE ranked second out of all companies in the Technology Hardware & Equipment industry on the World Index and number one in North America.
MSCI investor ranking
HPE earned a AAA (the highest rating) on MSCI’s ESG Rating Report, the only company in the Technology Hardware, Storage and Peripherals industry to do so in 2018. Launched in 2010, MSCI ESG Research is one of the largest independent providers of ESG Ratings. CDP Supplier Climate A List & Supplier Engagement Leader
HPE was recognized on the CDP Climate ‘A’ List for leading efforts to reduce climate-related risks. In addition, HPE earned a position on the CDP Supplier Engagement leaderboard for work to engage our suppliers in emissions reduction efforts. The annual SPA Awards recognize signatories who have made notable efforts and achievements in reducing packaging waste. HPE was one of only thirteen companies selected for the award.

HPE received a perfect score of 100 percent on the 2018 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to workplace equality, administrated by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. HPE satisfied all the CEI criteria, which results in a 100 percent ranking and the designation as a Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise was one of 106 companies awarded a position on The Climate A List by CDP. This distinction recognizes actions to reduce emissions and mitigate climate change in the previous reporting year. Thousands of companies submit annual climate disclosures to CDP for independent assessment and HPE was among 5% of the corporations participating in CDP’s climate change program to be awarded a position on the Climate A List.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise was awarded the SDG pioneer 2017 award by UNGC UAE in the category of People. This category places high importance on the role of businesses in inclusion.
