HPE announces permanent Hybrid IT President
CEO Antonio Neri provides update on leadership team
- Chief Sales Officer Phil Davis will become the permanent President of Hybrid IT
- Alain Andreoli will continue to lead Hybrid IT Infrastructure, Ric Lewis will continue to lead Software-Defined
At the beginning of this year, we created a new Hybrid IT business group that brought together all of our infrastructure, software, and services capabilities into a single organization. This new organization was conceived to better address the integrated technology needs of our customers. Our Hybrid IT business is focused on the services-led and software-enabled infrastructure and solutions we need in order to deliver on our promise to make Hybrid IT simple.
Since the formation of this business group, on an interim basis, our Chief Sales Officer, Phil Davis has led this business group. After a thorough internal and external review, I am pleased to announce that Phil will become our permanent President of Hybrid IT, effective August 1. I am confident in Phil’s ability to lead us in our next chapter given his customer-first, customer-last approach, which has proven to be hugely valuable.
The Hybrid IT business group led by Phil consists of three business units—Hybrid IT Infrastructure, Software-Defined & Cloud, and HPE Pointnext—plus, Global Operations and Global Sales.
Alain Andreoli will continue to leadHybrid IT Infrastructure, Ric Lewis will continue to lead Software-Defined & Cloud, and Arun Chandra will continue to lead Global Operations.
It is with mixed emotions that I announce Ana Pinczuk’s decision to leave HPE for new opportunities. Ana has led the HPE Pointnext team through an important and impactful transformation. I am grateful for her leadership and strategy that made a significant difference for HPE Pointnext, shifting our team to be customer-focused, outcome-led and people-driven. Ana was exactly the leader we needed to drive our HPE Pointnext organization as we pivoted the company to be services-led with a focus on consumption models and “everything-as-a-service.” Ana will work with Phil on a smooth transition plan for the HPE Pointnext team, and in the coming weeks, Phil will announce new leadership for HPE Pointnext.
Global Sales has been running on all cylinders and it is clear that the current model works very well. There will be no changes to our go-to-market structure.
After seeing the results of the past six months, I’m confident that with this organizational structure, we are well positioned to execute our strategy, accelerate innovation, and grow—and win—in the marketplace. I am very excited about the opportunities ahead of us.
