It empowers customers to access, analyze, and extract value from their data across public clouds, data centers, colocation facilities, and at the edge.
We have fantastic momentum and have grown our as-a-service business into a market-leading position to bring the modern cloud experience to our customers where they need it. Today, among our top 100 HPE customers, nearly 80 percent have already adopted the HPE GreenLake platform, which enables more than 120,000 users, powers more than two million connected devices, and manages more than one exabyte of data. Customers receive industry-leading operational support and managed services experiences, resulting in a 96 percent customer retention rate.
As we accelerated our transformation to bring the HPE GreenLake vision to life, we created the HPE GreenLake Cloud Services Commercial Business to take it from incubation to the heart of everything we do at HPE today. Keith White, who joined us nearly three years ago to build this capability, laid out a bold, customer-centric strategy for HPE GreenLake that changed how we take our solutions to market. The team transformed our go-to-market approach to address our customers’ priorities across cloud, data and edge, and established a strong network of partners we sell through and with to provide solutions to our joint customers.
The success of the HPE GreenLake Cloud Services Commercial Business has put us in a prime position to further accelerate our growth and build upon our leadership. As a result, we are now fully integrating the organization into the core operations of the company. Doing so will enable us to integrate the deep HPE GreenLake subject matter expertise and capabilities into our core teams as the HPE GreenLake platform continues to be the center of HPE’s strategy.
What had appropriately been a stand-alone business at HPE while we created an industry-leading capability that was ready to bring to market, now becomes ingrained into everything we do. Our tremendously talented team members will move into their aligned areas across Global Sales, Global Operations, HPE Pointnext Technology Services, and HPE GreenLake Cloud Services Solutions. And, we are so fortunate to have Keith leading the team through this transition while engaging with our customers and partners. We value his deep expertise and expect to announce his new role soon.
