Investing in innovation and empowering the Hispanic and Latino community at HPE
In May, HPE hosted HITEC’s Spring Leadership Summit, bringing together technology leaders to share best practices, discuss challenges and trends, and support career development for Hispanic and Latino emerging leaders. Dan Domenech, VP and Chief Talent Officer, shares his thoughts on the importance of investing in our talent pipeline and hosting the summit
- The HITEC Spring Leadership Summit hosted at our Houston HQ brought together close to 500 delegates, re-enforcing our longstanding partnership with HITEC and investment in the advancement of the Hispanic and Latino community
- At HPE, we are committed to growing and cultivating our Hispanic and Latino talent and being a force for good in the communities where we live and work
In May, I’m proud to share that HPE hosted more than 350 delegates from 75+ industry leader and top 500 companies as part of the Hispanic in Tech Executive Council’s (HITEC) Spring Leadership Summit. The event proved to not only be a celebration of the achievements of Hispanic and Latino leaders in the tech industry, but also a vibrant tapestry of the range of cultures and perspectives that enrich our community.
Over the two-day event, attendees engaged with thought leaders, industry pioneers, and fellow trailblazers in dynamic discussions and networking sessions. Together, we explored the latest trends, emerging technologies, and strategies to drive positive change. As a result of our actions, we were able to connect with more than 25 total partners and customers on-site across industries who are equally invested in DEI including Apple, KPMG, Wells Fargo, Salesforce, Cummins and more.
The conference stood as a testament to our commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within the technology sector, serving as a platform where ideas converged, barriers dissolved, and opportunities flourished
