Deleting a volume using HPE StoreEasy management console

Hewlett Packard Enterprise recommends backing up the data on the volume you want to delete.

Procedure
  1. Select Volumes from the left navigation menu. The list of volumes will appear in the main Volumes page.
  2. Click the button in Actions field of respective volume.
  3. Select Delete Volume option. Delete Volume page will appear.
  4. Select Yes, delete the volume.
  5. Click Delete Volume button at the bottom of the window.
    NOTE:

    • Volumes created as HPE StoreEasy best practices can be deleted. Once the volume gets deleted, its associated logical drive will also delete.

    • User cannot create new volume if volume deletion process is in progress.
