Rolling back the changes when the error occurs while creating a volume

Rollback will occur automatically if volume creation fails.

The error occurs in volume creation operation if:
  • Array creation process fails.

  • Logical drive creation process fails.

  • Snapshot schedule creation fails.

  • Hot spare drive addition fails.

NOTE:

If the drive letter or volume name cannot be assigned to the created volume, the overall operation should not be rolled back. You can assign the drive letter or volume name using Editing volumes using HPE StoreEasy management console.
