Link aggregation group statistics

Link aggregation group (LAG or MLAG) statistics are applicable only for HPE Virtual Connect SE 100Gb F32 Module for HPE Synergy interconnects. You can view the statistics on the Interconnect screen.

The LAG statistics combine the statistics for all ports, including uplink and downlink sets in the LAG. The interconnect screen provides the statistics of the traffic for the entire LAG or MLAG without the need for manually collecting the information of all the member ports.

The benefits of configuring the uplink and downlink ports into link aggregation groups are increased bandwidth, resiliency, and redundancy.

Uplink LAGs are configured outside of HPE OneView on top-of-rack (ToR) switches. These LAGs can be either single module LAGs, or can include ports from two modules, which are referred to as an MLAG. Uplink LAGs exist within the context of an uplink set, and in any uplink set there can be zero to many LAGs. The statistical data displayed is per LAG and not per uplink set.

Downlink LAGs are configured on the server profile through the existing connections interface. These LAGs are also called as VP LAG, s-channel, or subport LAGs.
