Copy and resize a logical interconnect group

You can copy and resize an existing logical interconnect group to grow or shrink the number of frames in the new group. The result is a new logical interconnect group with the same settings as the existing logical interconnect group, but a change in the number of frames.

Procedure
  1. From the main menu, select NETWORKING > Logical Interconnect Groups and select the interconnect group to copy and resize.
  2. Select Actions > Copy.
  3. Type the following information:

    • Name

    • Enclosure count — number of enclosures in the new logical interconnect group

    NOTE:

    HPE OneView automatically updates the Redundancy based on the redundancy of the original logical interconnect group and the number of enclosures.

  4. Click OK.

    HPE OneView uses the existing logical interconnect group and creates a new logical interconnect group. The new logical interconnect group is not associated with any enclosure groups or logical interconnects.

    Verify that the new logical interconnect group appears in the master pane.
