HPE OneView single sign-on into iLO
When viewing the Server Hardware screen, if you click a host name, IPv4, or IPv6 address, HPE OneView attempts to connect to the iLO web UI (using that host name or address) and automatically signs you in.
It is important to note that the connection to the iLO web UI is between your local browser and the iLO. So, a successful connection to the iLO depends on the network configuration of your client system and the network path to the iLO. Depending on the configuration, some of those links might not be able to connect to the iLO. If clicking an address link does not result in a connection, click a different address until you find one that connects.
The iLO host name might not be a Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN). For example, the iLO host name of blade servers in c7000 enclosures. If clicking the unqualified name does not connect to the iLO web UI, try to add the iLO domain name to the domain search list on your local desktop, or add the short host name to the local hosts file.
