Add or edit SNMPv3 users

Prerequisites

Privileges: Infrastructure administrator.

Procedure
  1. From the main menu, select Settings.
  2. In the SNMP panel, click Edit.
  3. Do one of the following:

    • To add a new user, click Add SNMPv3 Users.

    • To edit an existing user, click adjacent to the user listed.

  4. Provide all the details in the Add SNMPv3 user dialog box.

    For the Security level with Authentication and privacy option, note that the pass phrase associated with the SNMPv3 user has a minimum of 8 characters.

  5. Click Add to add another SNMPv3 user.
  6. Click OK to update the appliance SNMP settings.
  7. Verify the changes (if any) in the SNMP panel.
