Configure NTP server for server hardware

You can synchronize the managed and monitored server hardware with appliance clock or with the NTP servers.

Prerequisites

  • You have the IP address of the NTP server.

Procedure
  1. From the main menu, select Settings, and click Global Settings.
  2. Click edit Server Hardware to display the Edit Server Hardware Settings dialog box .
  3. Select one of the following NTP server configuration and click OK:

    • Synchronize with OneView- This option synchronizes the server hardware with HPE OneView

    • Synchronize with time server(s)- This option synchronizes the server hardware with the configured NTP server.

  4. Verify that the NTP server configuration is updated in the Global Settings screen.
