Configure management processor HTTPS port for a server hardware

HPE OneView allows you to manage or monitor HPE iLO servers using an HTTPS port number that is different from the default port number (443). Using the configured HPE iLO HTTPS port number, HPE OneView communicates with all the server hardware (managed or monitored).

HPE Superdome Flex Servers and HPE Integrity Superdome X servers do not support this feature. If you configure the Management processor HTTPS port on an HPE OneView managing or monitoring any of these servers, the appliance stops communicating with the servers.

Prerequisites

  • Privileges: Infrastructure administrator

  • Both the Web Server SSL port in HPE iLO and the Management processor HTTPS port in HPE OneView have the same value.

Procedure
  1. From the main menu, select Settings, and click Global Settings.
  2. On the Server Hardware panel, click the Edit icon.
  3. On the Edit Server Hardware Settings dialog box, enter the required port number in the Management processor HTTPS port field.

    The default port number is 443.

    The valid port number ranges between 1–65535.

  4. Click OK.
