Edit hypervisor manager

You can edit the hypervisor manager to update changes to the port, hostname identity, or credential information. You can also set the preferences with the edit action.

Prerequisites

  • Privileges: Infrastructure administrator

  • Ensure that the vCenter server user has the necessary privileges.

Procedure
  1. From the main menu, select HYPERVISORS > Hypervisor Managers.
  2. In the master pane, select the hypervisor you want to edit, and select Actions > Edit.
  3. Edit the values shown on the screen.
  4. Confirm your changes, and click OK to apply them.
  5. Verify that the changes have been made in the details pane.
