Remove hypervisor manager

Remove hypervisor manager when the virtual configuration and hypervisors are no longer used.

Prerequisites
  • Privileges: Infrastructure administrator

  • Ensure that all references to the hypervisor manager by hypervisor clusters in HPE OneView are removed using the steps provided in Delete hypervisor cluster profile.

Procedure
  1. From the main menu, select HYPERVISORS > Hypervisor Managers.
  2. In the master pane, select the hypervisor manager you want to remove.
  3. Select Actions > Remove.
  4. Review the confirmation message displayed, and click Yes, remove.

    The hypervisor manager with the associated data is removed from HPE OneView.

  5. Verify that the hypervisor manager is no longer displayed in the master pane.
  6. Optional: Navigate to Settings > Security > Manage certificates to remove the vCenter certificate.
