Reset the appliance maintenance console password

Prerequisites

Create a new password that fulfills the password requirements.
If the current appliance maintenance console password is forgotten, perform and download a backup and then perform a factory reset of the appliance.

Procedure

Access the appliance maintenance console main menu.
Log in with the user name maintenance and password (if set) at the login prompt.
Select Reset maintenance console password.
Enter the current password and the new password twice, once for verification.
Select OK.
