Edit the properties of a power delivery device

You can edit the general properties of a power delivery device, such as line voltage and rated capacity. Accurately describing and configuring your power delivery infrastructure enables the appliance to find additional capacity for potential problems. The appliance generates alerts to report any potential power or cooling capacity issues it identifies.

Prerequisites

Privileges:Infrastructure administrator or Server administrator

Procedure
  1. From the main menu, select FACILITIES > Power Delivery Devices, and do one of the following:
    1. In the master pane, select the power delivery device you want to edit and select Actions > Edit.
    2. Hover your pointer in the details pane and click the Edit icon.
  2. Edit the name or power connections of the power delivery device.
  3. Review your changes and click OK to apply them.
  4. Verify that your changes have been made in the details pane.
