-
Enter the data requested on the screen.
When you change the rack U height, the rack height is calculated automatically. If your rack height is different from the calculated value, update the height to override the default configuration.
The physical dimensions (height, width, and depth) of the rack are in mm or inches (depending on your browser locale setting). The default width and depth values are based on standard HPE rack sizes.
-
To add devices to the rack diagram, drag them from the device list to the diagram or select devices in the device list and click
Add.
Use the devices search box to filter the device list or specify a device by name. Selecting devices in the list and clicking
Add allows you to configure the device.
-
Click
Add to add a rack, or click
Add + to add another rack.
NOTE: When you add a rack, the appliance shows it in all data centers until you place it in a specific data center. The appliance notifies you when you view a data center that contains unplaced racks.
-
Verify that the rack has been added in the master pane.
