Change the DNS server
Prerequisites
Privileges: Infrastructure administrator
You have the IP address of the new DNS server.
If you use DNS, you must specify the appliance host name by its fully qualified domain name.
Procedure
- From the main menu, navigate to the Settings screen.

Click
Edit in the
Appliance panel.
- Enter the IP address for the new DNS server into the Preferred DNS server field.
- Optionally, enter the IP address for the alternate DNS server into the Alternate DNS server field.
- Ensure that Address assignment (for either IPv4 or IPv6) is set to your preference.
- Click OK to reconfigure the appliance network.
