Manage the maintenance mode of a server hardware device

Prerequisites

  • Privileges: Infrastructure administrator, Server administrator.

  • You have completed all the maintenance work on the server hardware device.

Procedure
  1. From the main menu, select SERVERS > Server Hardware.
  2. Select the server hardware device for which you want to manage the maintenance mode.
  3. Perform one of the following actions:
    1. To enable the maintenance mode of a server hardware device, select Actions > Enable maintenance mode. In the Enable Maintenance Mode dialog box, click Yes, enable.

      The Hardware panel of the Server Hardware screen displays the In maintenance mode text in the State field.

    2. To disable the maintenance mode of a server hardware device, select Actions > Disable maintenance mode. In the Disable Maintenance Mode dialog box, click Yes, disable.
    NOTE: HPE OneView Remote Support is paused when a server is put into maintenance mode.
