If switch four is in the on position, regardless of the setting of switch three, each compute cartridge is connected to one PXIe slot, and it is the PXIe slot that is on the same side (left or right) as well as the same height (top or bottom) location in the chassis as the compute cartridge. This is defined as 1 to 1 mapping, as each cartridge has one PXIe slot.

Server cartridge 1 will be mapped to PXIe slot 2.

Server cartridge 2 will be mapped to PXIe slot 3.

Server cartridge 3 will be mapped to PXIe slot 4.

Server cartridge 4 will be mapped to PXIe slot 5.
