Differentiator

• HPE 8-port 1/2.5/5/10GBASE-T PoE+ MACsec v3 zl2 Module for the 5400R zl2 Switch Series. The 8 ports are HPE Smart Rate Multi-Gigabit. NOTE: MACsec not available at first release.

• Up to (12) open module slots, maximum. Supports a maximum of (288) 10/100/1000 ports or (288) SFP ports or (96) SFP+ ports or (96) HPE Smart Rate Multi-Gigabit or (24) 40 GbE ports, or a combination. Pre-configured models, some with PoE/PoE+, can support 10/100/1000 GbE, 10 GbE and 40GbE.

• PoE allocations supports multiple methods (automatic, IEEE 802.3af class, LLDP‑MED, or user‑specified) to allocate PoE power for more efficient energy savings on select models.
